The recent regional bat conference was a great success and it was nice to hear what other bat groups are up to and to have a slot to say what we have achieved. Thanks to Mike for speaking.

Other News.
At the last Committee meeting it was decided that David Brown would be Vice Chair, makes no difference to committee structure but it does help when dealing with organisations to have a second to Emma Stone as Chair, especially when Emma is in the field and out of regular contact.
Being really organised - Jim/Laura have selected a mixture of Saturdays and Sundays for bat box checks, they are in the Calendar - If you need more details please email Jim

June - BioBlitz 2009 - one site, 30 hours to record biological diversity. More details as this takes shape but the date is fixed - 26th to 27th June.
